Sarah Lloyde is one of Australia’s best kept secrets, but not for long. With a strong, soulful voice she’s already a star in her own right with extensive dance and performance experience and a captivating personality to complete the full package.
From an early age Sarah strived to make a name for herself in the australian entertainment industry and started from the age of 10 by winning all local and national singing competitions entered and making regular appearances on well known TV shows and events! She then went on to perform in high profile local bands as soon as age permitted including The Flaming Sambuca’s and the very popular South Australian children’s band The Funkees.
In 2007, Sarah made it to the top 16 of Australian Idol and then went on to team with high profile producers, songwriters and performers such as James Ash (Rogue Traders), Josh Abrahams (Totally Addicted to Bass), Kittygroove (Sven Tydeman and Richie Neville- member of the UK boy band 5ive), Cheyne Coats (Madison Avenue) and US Super Star Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbour).
During this time, Sarah also joined Adelaide’s top show band Black Jack (Ding Productions) and starred as Mary Magdalene in Gilbert and Sullivan’s production of Jesus Christ Super Star, working along side some of Australia’s most sort after artists.
In 2012 she entered into Australia’s highest rating televised talent competition The Voice, and made it to the top 24 where she was controversially knocked out in the Battle Rounds.
Since then she’s stolen the show at the Adelaide Carols by Candle Light in 2012, herself and her cast of 60 dancers wowed a 30,000 member audience at the 2013 T20 Big Bash League NYE celebrations, she’s an ambassador for The Allahna and Madeline anti bullying Foundation, and works extensively with and for fostering companies Key assets and Life With out Barriers.
She’s been in very high demand to sing the Australian National Anthem for high profile games and events such as The Little Heroes foundations Slow Down, SANFL Grand final, The Roger Rasheeds AFL Grand final Big Breakkie, The Tour Down Under final race, the SA Grey Hound races and The Balaklava Cup. She’s made many special appearances at high profile events and continues to do so.
In 2015 Sarah was involved and competed in the iPop New Faces talent search in Los Angeles. She won ‘Best Adult Singer’, ‘Singer of the Year’ and ‘Best Overall Singer’. Along with ‘Runner Up Actor of the Year’ and third place in ‘Best Adult Actor’- just as the cherry on top! She then went on to score some work with one of LA’s top music producers and acting agents!
